Liliana Bardijewska – autorka kilkunastu książek, słuchowisk radiowych i sztuk teatralnych dla dzieci, a także tłumaczka oraz krytyk literacki i teatralny. Jej bajka Zielony wędrowiec (2001) oraz tom opowiadań Dom ośmiu tajemnic (2006) zostały uhonorowane tytułem Książki Roku przez Polską Sekcję IBBY. Dom ośmiu tajemnic był wpisany na Międzynarodową Honorową Listę IBBY najlepszych książek (2008) oraz na Listę Białych Kruków Biblioteki dla Dzieci i Młodzieży w Monachium. Autorka, której sztuki dla dzieci były grane w Polsce, Finlandii i w Bułgarii jest laureatką licznych nagród literackich i dramaturgicznych. W 2010 roku została odznaczona srebrnym medalem Gloria Artis. Utwory Liliany Bardijewskiej były tłumaczone na język angielski, bułgarski, chorwacki, czeski, fiński, niemiecki.
