The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

I suppose this is fine if someone get injured playing football, but can we make the stretch that is effective for anyone else. And what about the studies in BMJ that show it is no more effective then a placebo? In addition, how do we know that it is the herniations causing the pain since 80% of free? people demonstrated this on MRI. IMO, giving a player this treatment does not mean they won’t need surgery or long-term care, only that they can go back destroying thier body sooner. Too bad.

That’s a creative answer to a difficult question
I do think it’s a good ending and certainly a brave one. It couldn’t really be more hopeless for the protagonist – it’s plain horrible, in fact. But, even without the final shock, the ending is already bleak, to say the least. Perhaps, the current climax is less bleak for we the viewers than the character? Not wanting to give too much away…

Our arts prototype teacher just presented our staff with a training that included the “cone of learning.” According to the cone, things that we read are retained at low levels compared to watching a movie and much less than participating in something such as drama. I know I have seen this with my students who make excellent connections to the Disney movies they have seen in the theater. They have also made vocabulary connections to words they hear characters in their video games say.
hi Sarah! i can never forget this book. i read it in the original French (gave me headaches lol!) way back in college. i couldn't resist reading an English translation afterwards. i agree with you, it is kinda depressing. i wouldn't have picked this book but it was required reading in my French class so i had little choice.
